Hey, I’m Josh. I’m a human living in Berlin, Germany. Camera and keyboard are tools that help me direct my attention outwards and cultivate an appreciation for my environment, built and natural.
I’m fortunate I get to spend a good chunk of my time bikepacking through sandy Brandenburg, riding new roads to connect familiar places throughout the seasons. Looking beyond the physical journey, I believe that minimal travel can take us to a place where we can be present and, away from distraction and false incentives, learn about ourselves and the varied nature of the world. My hope is that my photography, writing, and bikepacking routes can spark conversations that help us expand on these sentiments.
So if you want to share your story, remark on a photo or simply talk gear, I’d love to exchange messages with you. It’s a little more effort than a silent Instagram follow, but the human connection is truly worth it.
